The case is a darkly fabulous figured sapele mahogany, and the lid, fallboard, key slip and a high quality adjustable Jansen artist bench have been completely refinished. The original soundboard is in amazing condition and the piano has been re-strung with premium bass strings. It also has been fitted with a new Steinway action, including key bushings, hammers, shanks, repetitions and felts.
